About HOPE Mbale
Our Background
The Name of the organization is Holistic Organization to Promote Equality (HOPE) but registered as HOPE MBALE. The Organization was founded in 2009 after realizing an increase in discrimination, stigma, prejudice and mistreatment of the marginalized groups.
The organization is non-governmental, non-partisan and voluntary. It is affiliated to Regional, National and International networks with similar objectives. HOPE MBALE aims to promote and protect Human Rights, advocate for quality health service provision and equal opportunities for all.
The organization offer services in the following 9 Districts in Eastern Uganda: – Mbale, Tororo-malaba, Busia, Manafwa, Sironko, Bulambuli, Serere, Kapchorwa and Kween respectively.

HOPE MBALE is registered by the government of Uganda as a company Limited by
guarantee and as a fully-fledged NGO in Uganda.
